Almost any beach in California is beautiful, but sometimes you just want a family-friendly beach. And Redondo Beach is that beach! There are tons of water sports for the kids to get involved in, as well as checking out the Seaside Lagoon. They even have a mobile app and you’ll have access to plenty of food and fun, while you hit up this fabulous beach.
Long Beach, Washington
I mean, who doesn’t want to hit up a beach location known as Long Beach? This fabulous beach in Washington is perfectly perfect for families. Go with the kids to clam dig or to fly a kite. One of our favorite activities, when visiting the beach as a family, is looking for washed-up wildlife. The beach is such an amazing place, especially when it’s kid-friendly.

If you’re spending time in California, try to take a trip to Butterfly Beach. It’s a popular destination with the locals, but tourists enjoy all that it offers, too. You can park for free and head over to the beach, where you can walk around or even ride a bike, making it the perfect spot for the entire family.
