You walk in through the gift shop (of course!) But even that is decorated, the ceiling is tree branches and they even have a huge butterfly on a tree.

Then we walked to be seated and you get to walk threw a fish tank arch and my kids thought it was the most amazing thing!

The whole restaurant has trees on the ceiling and fish tanks scattered throughout.

We got to sit in a round booth with my kids loved.

We were sitting right next to the ‘tomb’

Above us we had a toucan in the corner.

Every  10 minutes the animals came to life and moved and made noises. Every 30 minutes there was a thunder storm where it would thunder and ‘lightning’ the animals would get active and lights would dim. My kids loved it.

We walked and saw the animals. The closest to us were the monkeys. There was a monkey in a tree

There were big monkies on the wall as well

One corner of the restaurant had parrots in the trees

Another corner had 2 elephants.

The 3rd corner had a family of tigers this was the birthday girls favorite!

In the center of the restaurant there is a view of the ‘sky’ with stars and the lights change to simulate night , dawn and dusk.

I ordered the Island Fire platter. Not thinking it would be fire = spicy. It was still very good.

For dessert we ordered the Volcano (cake and ice cream).

On the way out we stopped and saw the hippo outside.

Now I did not realize until I was looking back on this picture that there was a snake above our heads! I HATE snakes, even fake snakes,  and wouldn’t have stood there!

Even the outside of the restaurant is decked out, which is what made my 3 year old excited to eat there!

If you’re in the Nashville area, be sure to check out the Rainforest Café – it’s a blast! The restaurant is full of fun surprises around every corner, and the food is pretty good too.
