Must Watch Movies that will Move Your Wanderlust Soul
I'm often asked what movies inspired me to be a full-time traveler. There are five movies that made me hand over the keys to my house and step out into the unknown. Here are my must watch movies that will move your wanderlust soul.
Wild
Wild written by Cheryl Strayed is the movie to remind your spirit that going through difficult situations can strengthen you in ways you didn't know you always needed. Reese Witherspoon's portrayal of Cheryl is spot on while she walks the Pacific Crest Trail solo.
Eat Pray Love
Sometimes you have to leave your life behind to find yourself again. Sometimes, that is eating your way through Italy, praying in India, and falling in love again in Bali. Don't tell me that you haven't didn't want to be Julia Roberts in this movie and want to do just that!

The Bucket List
When The Bucket List came out in 2007 it started the conversation of what did you want to accomplish by the time you were at the end of your life. Why wait became one of the most universal messages out of this movie. Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson were in the hospital when they created their Bucket List. How many things have you ticked off of your yet?
Into The Wild
This the true story of Christopher McCandless who just graduated from college with the world at his fingertips. He walked out of his privileged life and into the wild. He hitchhiked across the United States and up to Alaska. Without realizing how harsh the Alaska environment really was, Christopher met the adventure of his life. It cost him his life too. It is surreal going to the places in this movie, it will move you in ways you never imagined.
The Holiday
If there was one movie that helped to ignite the wonderful world of housesitting, it would be The Holiday. Even though this house swap was for just a couple short weeks, it let people see the wonderful opportunities, even love, that can happen when you take a holiday.
