Drive through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

While there may be tons of things to do in Gatlinburg, the top thing to do, in my opinion, is to drive through the Mountains. Experiencing the Smokies at any time of the year is a treat.

They have several scenic drives, the visitor centers have museums, then there is Cades Cove which is an open-air museum.

There is hiking, and camping here that all lead to some amazing views. Your kids can also grab their National Parks Junior Ranger Badges.

I just ran into your site as a link from pinterest. Wow...really impressed. You and your family are admirable and a good example to us all. We are grateful for your service. It seems unfair to me that service people are not paid way, way more. Well, teachers, police and firefighters too. What could be more important? I will be reading more and hoping to be supportive on amazon as I shop a lot there anyway. Best to you.
