We chose this campground to stay at while cleaning out our house. We stayed for a week and got a weekly rate for full hook up of Electric, water and sewer for $252 for the week. They offer monthly rates as well.

The Nitty Gritty Details

We love they are settled in the mountains, you cant beat the views. The campground is gated and only accessible via code. We like this because it cut down on visitor traffic and people just driving around. To get to any of the camp ground you have to drive over a small wood bridge, this bridge covered the steam that they allow fishing from. They have many creek front sites the tradeoff is these sites don’t have a sewer hookup. They do offer a honey wagon and have a dump station.

They have a pool, mini golf, office/store with the essentials, hand dipped ice cream, trout stream, free wifi, laundry room, game room, café, golf cart rentals, activates, live music, fire wood sales and propane tank refills.

Our Experience

We stayed for just over a week, checking in on a Friday and checking out the following Saturday. While they advertise and even SAY they have wifi at the camp sites it’s a lie. I had to go to the office or deck and if you were there past the office closing then you have no lights. A few times I was working from my car parked at the front desk. Let me tell you the looks I got….

The park fills up over the weekend with ‘weekenders’ You know the people  that come in for the weekend and camp then leave to be back at work on Monday, but during the week pretty empty.

They have a lot to do. While the creek was pretty low and had no fish really, they do have a pool, mini gulf, a snack shop, game room, ice cream and plenty of planned events during the weekend. They had a movie on the lawn one day we were there.

Plus you really can’t beat the views!
