Campgrounds in Myrtle Beach – Grapefull Sisters Winery and Carroll Woods Campground Review
While in North Carolina we used our Coast to Coast Membership and stayed at a Vineyard a little out of the way, about an hour between Myrtle Beach, SC, and Wilmington, NC. What we didn't know is what a hidden gem this place was. It is so much more than just a campground!
Campgrounds in Myrtle Beach – Grapefull Sisters Winery and Carroll Woods Campground Review
Grapefull Sisters Winery and CarrolWoods Campground are off the beaten path which is great because it's quiet and the perfect retreat. You are right between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington, and there is so much to do! From here head to Myrtle Beach and take in the Skyview, great restaurants, beaches, and the Family Kingdom. Wilmington has great shopping, plantations, and the Battleship North Carolina. Just north of Wilmington is the Moores Creek Battlefield.
The campground is part of the winery, and they have a great shop on the grounds with tons of things wine and not wine-related. My husband picked up some moonshine hot sauce and sweet tea jam. They offer wine tastings as well, but my favorite thing we got from the shop was the wine slushies!!

These things were amazing. Kind of like ice cream punch with wine and yummy-ness. It's just amazing. Above the wine shop, there is a bed and breakfast, just a few rooms but nice!
The weekend we were there they also had a wedding. They said weddings were a pretty regular thing in the warmer months.
Also, if you are looking for a great unique gift basket for holidays, birthdays, and more, they offer them with their fantastic wines.
Now on to the Carrollwood RV Park.

The campground is at the back of the vineyard and is very wooded. Most of the spaces are pull-through sites which my husband loved. The campground has a store that sells a little bit of everything. They have a swimming pool, laundry, dog park, and play area.
They also have a lot of great wildlife. We saw ducks, baby ducks, geese, and other birds all playing together. They even offer bird watching.
We loved this park and will be back when we are in the area. Make sure to check it out when you check out campgrounds in Myrtle Beach.
