Lynchburg Cake and Candy Company – Lynchburg, Tennessee
On the way to the Jack Daniel's Distillery we kept seeing signs for the Lynchburg Cake and Candy Company so we finally decided to stop.
So we followed the signs not too far off the main road, surprisingly it's at the owners house!
He had a separate shop and facility to make the cake and candy right on the property.
Have you heard of the Lynchburg Whiskey Cake? They have been featured on Food Network and The View. They were on the show Road Tasted which is hosted my Paula Deen's sons, The Deen Brothers. They were on Season 1 Episode 5 and you can see it here.
Not to mention they have several trip advisor rewards!
We got a tour of the facility including storage and where they make the items. I will say I was a bit jealous of their kitchen, I would say it's my dream kitchen when we get back to a sticks and bricks. Yes, it's an industrial kitchen you can call me crazy!
We bought the Whiskey Balls candy.
These Lynchburg Whiskey Praline Pecans are amazing and addicting!
We also bought a Whiskey Cake because, well how can you NOT? He signs every box!
They embrace the Jack Daniel's that made the city of Lynchburg and If you stop I promise you won't regret it!
