On our way to Franklin to see the Carter House and Walk Downtown we saw this American Girl store and I think I got more excited than my girls!
My oldest daughter saw this display and fell in love with Samantha!
I was amazed being my first time in an American Girl store and everything they had. Not only did they have their classic dolls (minus my 2 favorites!!) They had a new collection plus their look alike dolls!
They also had their doll salon where you can get your dolls hair done, they will do a new style or fix her hair back to it’s new out of the box look!
They also had a bistro where girls can have lunch with their dolls.
This trip above we walked away with 3 Samantha Books for her to read and learn about Samantha. We also grabbed the Samantha American Girl Holiday DVD.
We made a 2nd trip a few week later and this was the result of that trip….
I found many ways to incorporate the American Girl stories into our curriculum including teach guides and book about how the country was when they girls lived (like 1914!)
